Outdoor advertisers heavily lobbying local officials to permit visual pollution

Outdoor advertising promoters have been heavily lobbying local elected and appointed officials for more than a year to change the City of San Diego's sign laws to permit dozens of currently banned off-site advertising signs downtown, including digital billboards, wraps and other visual pollution.  Download the proposal that they filed with the City of San Diego Land Use & Housing Committee to see for yourself how our City could be transformed to a Vegas style atmosphere if local residents don't let their voices be heard: SanDiegoDistrictSignPlan082512.pdf.
